Hingham Police are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating a suspect who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint this week.

The robbery occurred at Richdale Food Shops, located at 185 Lincoln Street in Hingham, around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, Hingham Police said on Facebook. The male suspect entered the store, showed a semi-automatic pistol to the clerk and demanded money. 

The man is described as White, standing 6-feet-tall with a beard. Police said he was also wearing a New York Yankees hat, black jacket with a yellow zipper, black sweatpants and a surgical mask.

The man left the store with an unknown amount of money. Anyone with information is asked to contact Hingham police Detectives at 781-749-1212 or e-mail detectives@hpd.org. Anonymous tips can also be submitted online.
